- 1 pound ziti
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 1/2 pounds trimmed and sliced Swiss chard
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup ricotta
- Cook ziti following pkg directions. Drain and reserve 1 cup cooking water. Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high; add garlic and cook 1 minute. Stir in chard and 1/4 tsp salt and pepper; cook 8 minutes, until tender. Toss pasta with chard, walnuts, Parmesan, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp salt and enough cooking water to create a sauce. Stir in ricotta.
