Another beautiful spring afternoon in Fort Mill!  We hope each of you enjoyed a long holiday weekend with local food on your Easter menus!

Some news of note… we will be offering our weekly delivery rotation again soon.  Our farmers will be ready to keep with a higher demand starting in mid-May.  Wendy and I would like to hear from those of you who would be interested in switching to weekly deliveries.  Of course, we do not require contracts, so you would still have an option to cancel any week if you are heading out of town, etc.   We will keep everyone informed when we are certain of the date we’ll start up, but we are forecasting a tentative start date of May 17.  The weekly delivery option will most likely carry on through October 1.   Just let us know if you are interested in receiving local summer produce every week.

This week we will have more asparagus, strawberries, microgreens, lettuce, spinach, and other local items.   Since strawberries and lettuce are both in season and going strong, every box will get two of each – a ½ gallon of strawberries and two heads of lettuce.  Nothing says “Spring is here!” better than that!

This is also Bosky Acres’ goat cheese week.  Let us know if you would like to add a 4 oz. container ($6) to your delivery.

Also, just let us know if you’d like to add a dozen free-range, cage-free eggs ($3.50) or a pound of raw, local honey ($8.00) to your order.

Please let us know if you would NOT like to receive a box this week.

And as always, thank you for supporting our local farmers!

Blessings,

Beth & Wendy
