Fresh From the Farms is pleased to announce our brand-new website!
There you’ll find an ever-growing pictorial list of fruits and veggies that make appearances in your farm box. Along with that, there’s an area for customer-submitted recipes. If you’ve made a winning recipe with your FFTF produce, email it to us. We’ll post it on the website. Soon we’ll have a hub for all your tried and true recipes, all from a community of talented home chefs. The website also allows you to take a “tour” of the farms where your food comes from. Explore those farms and find out who grows your food. We also offer links to videos, books, and local food articles. We even have a new logo, which you’ll start to see on our boxes, and a few t-shirts around town! Thanks for taking a look. Check back often, as the website will continue to offer resources to expand the local food movement here in Fort Mill and Tega Cay, SC.
This week we have squash and zucchini! Some favorites we haven’t seen for months and months! Our weekly customers previewed them for us last week, and we are excited to have it for everyone this week. We’ll also have more green beans, and we are hoping to secure broccoli, strawberries, and Mindy’s lettuce, among other local items. Should be a great box!
Breadsmith is baking Strawberry Pie bread ($7/loaf) only through the month of May. Since we won’t be able to get it after this week, we are offering it to you again. If you missed it last time, now’s the time to request a loaf. It’s delicious… think Strawberry Pie French toast this Friday morning. Mmmm-mmm!
